Monk Fish
At K O'Connells Fish we sometimes refer to Monk as 'Mother in-Law Fish', something about the teeth and being a oracious ambush redator. Pat O'Connell cheekily said this to the Queen of England during her recent visit to K O'Connells Fish which was a week afer the Royal Wedding and of coarse knowing he was being cheeky, she was highly amused. As can be seen from the well publicised photos. But don't be put off by its looks, this is a serious fis, superb texture, superb taste and a myriad of ways to cook it. Fantastic!
